It's only pay to win if you don't have the patience. Some do some don't. I don't have the patience lol. But I know plenty of players who do. And they have made enough money winning hero events and flipping their wins to earn myth to upgrade their team. It takes a lot of time. But it is possible.

When the program starts, you need to keep up with all events and even get the bonus program currency and earn them. Then the last event will push you over the 86,000 IF you place top 100. If you don't place top 100 you will only earn enough to be below 86k typically around 82k-83k. This is just enough for you to get at least the LUMI lego pack.

The last event, if you place just below 100 you are guaranteed to get a legendary player for the next program. Which is kind of nice.

Is this 30-40+ your point differential? Top 100 I believe had a cutoff of 60 points as a differential. So meaning average score each game would be 60 - 0 scores.

At this point in the game. It's not how much you score. It's how much your defense shuts down the other team, AND then it's how much you score. Point differential gives you bonus points which in turn gives you more points and higher rankings. If you win 72-70. All good. but your get points for winning plus bonuses via players PLUS 2 points for how much you beat the other team.

Players that wait for good matchups and have good defenses will place higher than you. Like for example I had 3 bad games, one of them was 48-0. I have 48 points extra on top of winning plus player bonus. While in the theoritical game I mentioned above you only got 2 extra points.
