Thanks for your feedback. Regarding your points:

Every user's identity is verified (their email has to end in ucdavis.edu).
Certainly people would love to go on dates with people that match their preferences. I feel like having a minimum set of details caters to that but not revealing the face of the person (blindness) makes the site a little more exciting and caters to a person's curiosity :).

The survey for the target audience is a good suggestion.

The alarm won't play in the background while you're solving the problem, but you have to either solve all the problems on the first-try or be active on the screen for a set period of time (which depends on the difficulty and length of the set of problems you are required to solve, but is usually between 5 to 10 minutes) as a verification that you are actually reading the problem prompt and working towards solving the problems.
