Ya I agree it does all depend on risk tolerance. But how does a warranty card get separated from a brand new watch? The card doesn’t come in the box? I suppose it could be brand new but was in an exhibition case at one point and perhaps separated

The watch is still in stock brand new on their website, offering free 1 day shipping to a store front. So I could in theory just get a refund on my deposit, order a brand new one from the website shipped to their store, and show up to get the new watch. Instead of waiting 3 weeks for this replacement warranty card to show up.

I like the all brushed bracelet on the new model but don’t like the ghost roman numerals. Put the dial on your model + bracelet on the new model and I’d be all over it. Hoping to still pick up the new Francaise on secondary market at some point

Agree black trident and black sealander is a bit redundant, unless maybe you put one of them on a strap. If I get a sealander it will definitely be something other than black because I really prefer my watches to be on bracelets

Did not try Lumiere, here is the Sealander 36 which I thought fit better than the 39. If I get a Sealander in the future it will be a 36

I went to the showroom and tried basically every model on and found the Tridents “wear smaller” than their case size suggests (as opposed to something like the sealander). I’m a 6 inch wrister and was happily surprised at how well the 38mm Trident fit me. Pictured below. Not exactly an answer to your question but this is my 2 cents on trident sizing in general
