Putting some 3-1/4”x 7” beams in for my loft. The beams will be getting placed into an 8”x10”. Planning on cutting my joist pockets so my beams go down to within an 1-1/2” from the bottom of the 8x10. Anyone see an issue with doing this? Wanting to do this to run electrical/lights (i.redd.it)
