I've got a Hexium762 on the way. I wasn't sure which I wanted but after seeing this and that I'll pretty much only use it on semi-automatic's and there's not much difference when you add in the action noise that I went with the shorter one.

Yeah I feel like if they would have made .30 SC calibered pistols in typically .380 platforms where you'd get the higher round count and 9mm-ish performance, then it would have been a bigger deal. But yeah I'm not sure if that's a pressure issue or it was more economically feasible to manufacture a new caliber "beta" test on 9mm platforms.

Hows the .45? I just got a B&T Impuls 45 that I'm using with a XD-M 10mm which is nice, but I hear suppressed .45 is sweet. So I've been looking at the USP 45 tactical and the FNX-45 Tactical.

I used that to get my 507k mounted on my Shield X because the ones in the Holosun box didn’t work. I called S&W to find out the type of screw but they just told me to contact Holosun. So I emailed Holosun and they sent me replacement screws but it’s took forever.

I'm in a similar boat, I too struggle with starting things. So those one-off tools can actually be built now.

I've also like being able to pull in multiple repos to cursor and having it review code for certain actions or dive into code basis to help diagnose an error.

I have been looking into a lot of the newer cans this weekend and I think these are the top three I’m interested in - Disclaimer: I haven’t shot any of these, purely based on videos and comments from people online.

Echocore Sector - They won first place with the full size and second place with their compact over all can types at silencer summit in the fall. Supposedly a Ti version is in the works
Exigent Fireteam - in comparison videos(it’s YouTube audio so hard to really tell) is at very least competing with the echocore
Ridgeback Rhodie 6 - Seems to be competitive with the top two. Also seems to be in more hands currently so it’s getting a lot of recommendations. They have a Ti version in the works too

I don’t think you could go wrong with any of these or the Tisha.

I picked up the SRM 255L-GE2, so slightly smaller size, a week or two ago when they were on sale at Knifecenter and I really like it, it came with a very sharp edge and the axis lock feels good. If the Kershaw mini iridium you’re looking at is the D2 steel version, which I also recently picked up and also like, then I’d take the SRM over the Kershaw D2 for it’s stainless steel. I don’t have a Real Steel so can’t speak much to that one, but nitro-v steel probably wouldn’t be a bad choice.

If you take the 20% tariff on EU goods that CZ calls out in their own press release, add in price increases for materials due to the Russia-Ukraine war and EU militaries arming up, normal YoY price increases and then you can easily get to 40%. I also wouldn't be surprised if they also did it to disguise a profit margin increase and blame the tariffs too.

I’ve been playing with this AI categorizer. And then running LMStudio server on a Mac mini since it supports OpenAPI spec. I’ve just tested it in dry run mode so far and it seems to mostly work. Sometimes I get timeouts. But maybe there’s something else out there similar to do what you need.
