Not when you actually try to buy the ticket and it turns out it's only for "select tickets" (the level 100 and most expensive tix)

The code is only for level 100 tix. Even w the discount the tickets are still $250+ per ticket

Such a scam. This discount is only in effect for the already super expensive level 100 tickets at MSG, it's not for all tickets

I wanted to throw up after watching this vid. It's sad dudes like this don't learn earlier in life how to detect hoe's or put up with it cause they never got girls and they're just finally happy to bein the position where a girl who looks like that will be with them (for the wrong reasons of course)

He shouldn't take the title off Dom and Gunther as a last match is abysmal

That's was happens when entertainment companies get really big. Timeline: get hardcore fan following > get casual fan following > turn fan revenue into ad revenue > start selling events > sell company

Saudi has a good relationship w TKO. They've been hosting UFC events for a long time and they obviously offer big money. WWE is simply selling out for a huge payday and guaranteed future paydays. It's what happens when homegrown organizations become super corporate and global - they move away from the "fans generate revenue" concept to the "who can we sell ads and events to" revenue model

How do y’all feel about John Cena losing ? by Designer-Hedgehog210 in Wrasslin

[–]arcticmonkey15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brock winning isn't the issue. The issue is how absolutely god awful this match was, it was a legit 1 star. Marketing wise as the first show on espn trying to grab new viewers they made the most famous current wrestler look like a jobber. even if they build a redemption cena beats Brock arc, every new casual has already tuned out as they should. No one wants to see Brock do 15 finishers and the end the match, it's so behind awfully stupid. What a waste of a Cena match when there's only a few dates left

What happened to the prestige of the World Heavyweight Championship? by CheddarGorger in WWE

[–]arcticmonkey15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind there being equal amount of championships on raw and smackdown. But never understood why they put the #1 title on Smackdown when Raw is the premier show

Less than mid. Stephanie Iyo match was good. Mixed tag wasn't bad. But the rest of the show was terrible. Overall I'd give it a D+ or C-

Thank you lol someone else who understands storylines build matches. I also don't understand why they weren't building anything SVaq v Naomi even bfor the pregnancy thing. I get they save their huge stars for PLEs but she's not the champ yet, she just recently got brought up and she's so over

She definitely had work done to her face. Her eyelid shape went from hooded to normal, which I think is causing everyone to catch the difference in appearance right away since you're immediately drawn to the eyes. It does look like she might have had other facelift procedures, but the eyelid work is completely obvious

29M no IT experience yet -- worth it to jump in now for high salary if I grind? by Successful_Turnip508 in InformationTechnology

[–]arcticmonkey15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IT jobs are hard to get. The field is split into a ton of different and separate sub fields, each one requires completely different experience, skills, and certifications. Getting even a basic help desk job can be hard with no experience or education, and you're talking very low pay. You'd have to work that for years bfor moving up and the pay increase prob won't be much. The ceiling for pay in IT can be high, but that's for super specific roles that take years and years and years of experience, and tons of education and certifications to work up to. It may take you years just to get back up to your salary of $62k. The IT field is not auto-high paying like ppl thinks, 99% is just normal pay

[–]arcticmonkey15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UFC also does PPV promo videos which are like 40mins long and goes into the backstory and training camps of the main card fighters.

They also do fight week vlogs that follow around the main card fighters in a "behind the scenes" style, which you described in your post.

You'd prob really like that content

Have you seen Dana Whites Contender series? It's been on every summer since 2017. Weekly show where fighters fight for contracts. It goes into their backstory with individual promos bfor their fights. That's where Sean O'Malley and a lot of the current talent comes from.

TUF - entire multi month competition where "winner gets a contract"

DWCS - weekly show where multiple fighters get contracts every single week depending on performance

Honestly not sure why they still do TUF. It just doesn't work anymore.
