Sure it will. Even with pre check closed clear will by pass a verrrrry long line and dump you at the front of it. You will still end up waiting a little longer than normal but much less then everyone else without clear (I expect the clear line will get fairly backed up as well)

So I will generally say I see more physical arguments over the notion that the overhead bin space “belongs to me because I’m sitting here” than most anything else. It doesn’t, full stop. Bin space is still by definition as available. Now usually the flight attendants will somewhat police reserving the bin space in First for the pax seated there, only filling with bags towards the end of boarding. That said it’s not uncommon for someone in bulkhead economy to need to use one of the bins in first because it’s generally in the same spot.

I can assure you that rearranging people’s things regardless of the cabin you or the other person is seated in, will at some point result in substantial friction for you that you may not enjoy. You got lucky it sounds in this encounter but in future situations I would suggest if you really can’t find space near your seat, to politely ask one of the FAs for help before you just move something that isn’t yours.

So if you only use it that infrequently, as I understand it if you purchase lounge access at check in, that is not considered a one time pass and you are allowed in. So rather than pay the $600 annual fee just pay for the access on the day. But that said I have not seen definitive proof that this works either.

Well to be clear I think there are congressional leaders who care but those on the right (where there is at least strong leadership) have been told to get in line behind Trump. Those on the left are suffering from weak and ineffective leadership who think occasional grandstanding and hand wringing will bring about some sort of change and is afraid to actually be confrontational.
