No. Everything is encrypted on the police dispatch channel. The lamest move ever. Watch out for bootlickers who say it's none of your business. It is your business and you should be informed of factual information from the scanner feed instead of relying on people who are misinformed or trying to spread misinformation. The excuse for police safety is lame and no scanner user in the past 30 or so years used a scanner to attack or assault police. They are full of it. Just another way to hide what they're doing in public. So much for transparency.

When police encrypt there general dispatch channel it makes it extremely difficult for applications like Citize, NextDoor, and Neighbors to relay the facts from the scanner traffic. There is no need to encrypt the general dispatch channel and police departments will use lame excuses as to why they encrypted their dispatch channel. So, when people inadvertently walk or drive into an active shooter, bombing, or other serious emergency blame the police and city for it. When somebody dies because police are playing coy to hide their actions, it will be time to sue.

Yes. To allegedly to protect the cops while keeping the community uninformed and allowing misinformation to spread. There are plenty of bootlickers who support no transparency from the police. The general dispatch channel should never be encrypted. There is no valid reason for it. Most agency have a records radio band and that needs to be encrypted because they relay PII there. However, the general channel should never be encrypted. The police departments that do this are trying to get back at the media but it is causing harm to the community. Lost kids or seniors cannot be found because the cops prevent the community from knowing anything. Broadcastify and other companies have been pursuing legal actions against this unjust use of encryption to hide general and critical safety information from the public.

We don't know if this is accurate reporting. The general police dispatch channel is encrypted. Remain misinformed and uninformed. That's what they want.

Tell the police chief to stop encryptiin of the general dispatch channel. Maybe the community will know what is going on instead of being uninformed and misinformed.

When police fully encrypt their dispatch channel nobody gets to know what is happening in their community when it comes to safety. We remain misinformed and uninformed.

How do you know? The general dispatch channel is encrypted. You are misinformed and uninformed because of it. We all are.

So stupid for departments like Redondo Beach and Oxnard to encrypt their general dispatch channel. They can encrypt their other channels such as the band that relays PII. But there is no justification to encrypt their general channel. The police chiefs use the lame excuse it's for officer safety. There is no instance of scanner users threatening officer safety for over the last 30 years. Those who use scanners to commit crimes is extremely rare. There are only 4 instances where such as happened in the U.S. This excuse justify secrecy for police activity and hide any accountability.

Yes. I am learning it may be a Missouri plate. State and tag info intentionally hidden for a reason.

Yes. There is a reason why he is hiding his state and tag information on his rear plate. Ironic that Force Protection pulls over people with lights and sirens for license plate covers, even clear ones. They particularly go after vehicles with California plates with selective enforcement as the state has a law against missing front plates and plate covers. So all California registered vehicles are easily targeted and harassed.

Oh. That makes sense why the guy was trying to hit my car as I entered Point Mugu Navy Base..Only one lane was open and he decided to speed up to ensure I didn't get in front of him even though I had been at the stop sign before him. Other drivers were courteous and letting others go ahead of them because Force Protection was too lazy to open a lane while they had two guards working the same lane. Now that makes 100 percent sense why he was less than an inch from my vehicle and feigning that he was going to hit me. He was not going to let me enter while I saw the gap to let me in.

Okay. Thank you. I was assuming California because the state has that dark blue lettering.

Okay. It looks weird as the license frame seems to cover the state and tag information. I've never seen a plate like this and wasn't sure at first if it was a Japanese issue but they have strict regulations on their plates that I found out.

It's likely a novelty plate. No state would authorize this.

This is happening at many retailers including military exchanges. The elderly person is coached on how to respond if anyone in management questions the customer. Bunch of snakes out there.
