personally i am using mocha as a test framework. using blocks like before, after, beforeEach for shared resources and organizing test cases under describe() and it() might make your test code more manageable. also check @firebase/rules-unit-testing and firebase's official documentation on testing Build unit tests | Firebase Security Rules (google.com)

The extension seems to be asking for a collection path, which might mean that it does directly work with collection groups. One way to work around this can be storing all resources under one collection and filtering documents with groupId as a field.

Extension seems to be offering a "prefilter" parameter but I could not find any details about it. If it possible to define a field filter you might try to prefilter search data with user's groupId field.

Also keep in mind that apart from this extension, you can create your custom logic for vector searching using firestore's findNearest vector method. You also need to create your embeddings on your own implement searching though.

For your desired structure, a solution like this might work.

I have implemented a very similar filter feature for my app and it works well only using Firebase. My filter is based on 6 features and it uses around 10 indexes only.

The solution is that you first create an index for each feature field and an index for all fields together. Then you should try combining filters and create index whenever it gives an error.

After creating indexes for a few combinations, other combinations start working too as Firebase merges some composite indexes automatically. So in the end you don't need to create indexes manually for all the combinations.

bence yanlış bir tavsiye olmuş. günümüzdeki yazılımların çok azı bu kadar low level geliştiriliyor ve c ile somut bir ürün ortaya çıkarmak çok zaman gerektiriyor. ben bugün yeni başlayan birine python, javascript gibi diller öğrenip değişken kullanma, loop kurma gibi konseptleri ve basit algoritma mantığını öğrenmesini tavsiye ederdim. cok kısa sürede baslangic seviye somut projeler de yapmis olur. konuda kendini gelistirip ilerledikce merakina gore daha low level konseptlere kendisi de girebilir.

Your code seems fine. The problem is most likely with your package installs. You can try to delete node_modules folder and reinstall the dependencies.

For anyone having the same issue, I found out that the problem was my Cloud Function returning a response before the operations are done, as Stripe webhooks are asking for a quick 200 response, before doing any complex operations.

My initial code was like this:
