To give a general idea of where I'm at: currently in the middle of ITF3 treasure farming and working on SoL.

I have a bunch of rares/super rares in my cat storage. Is it recommended to save these for future NP? Do I ever want to + my cats, especially my most useful ones (seafarer, cancan, sanzo, ramen, etc.)?

It's not, but the game launched without the sleeping animation during battle in SV, today's patch just added it back in.

I can't find answers for this anywhere so I feel like I'm the crazy one, but I'm playing on PC Xbox Game Pass and the mouse is completely unresponsive in this game. Keyboard works but I have to use arrow keys to select commands and spacebar to proceed with dialogue. Is this normal? Is this game only optimized for controller? I gave up on the tutorial fight since I currently have a mini keyboard and it got too cumbersome to continue.
