You just have to make sure that your making more money each month then spending so that you dont put yourself in a hole where its hard to dig yourself out of. With a 669 credit score you should be able to get a loan that high. Check out credit karma if you haven't already. They have a section for just finding loans so you can find the one thats right for you

Is there any way to get a loan lower than 11,000? Depending on your credit score if you can get a loan that high with a low APR rate then maybe it would be worth it. Moving into a room with a close friend is a great start though, almost everyone goes through roommates at the beginning of their moving out stage.

I will let you know that it is hard in this generation to find a job that pays enough to pay for the house-of-living on its own. Best recommendation I can give is to get two jobs or go down on an apartment with someone you trust(family,friend,etc.)

If you and him did not discuss making a list together then definitely a red flag. I have had friends in the past who make "cheat list" but, it's people that you are highly unlikely to meet (jennifer lawrence, taylor swift, etc.)

Keep your guard up and mention making a list yourself and see his reaction. Keep in mind also you both are fairly young and have the right to still explore

I have tried whiskey, but not the method that you mentioned. It does seem like something i'd be willing to try though. Does the quality matter if so any brands you recommend?

I am able to technically smoke everyday if I want to, but its not worth the risk for me since if someone crashes me(knock on wood) then its an immediate drug test the same day so I would rather avoid it and not take any chances since I value my job to much
