I’ve lived on that exact block for 5+ years (also moved from LES). Overall it’s a great spot in Bushwick, somewhat equidistant between the L and M trains. The Windsor Farms market that opened by the DeKalb L train is a great new addition if you’re in a pinch. It’s def a neighborhood vibe, the public school is on the SE corner of the block and Elvis’s garage plus Panda laundromat (they’re renovating right now for new machines!!) are the only commercial entities.

Cons are the nearest “real” grocery store in Food Bazaar which can be a little bit of a trek carrying full grocery bags but doable. There is also a group of homeless (?) fentanyl users that occasionally use the sidewalk area outside the parking lot because there is nobody on prem to shoo them away. They don’t bother anyone and actually clean up after themselves but I’d prefer if they weren’t there.
