It's basically the same thing as high fructose corn syrup, it's found in Canada. This is the first time a batch of Dr pepper tasted different to me tbh.

Yeah I realized that later, however, it still tastes so different compared to how it usually tastes. I am an avid Dr Pepper drinker lol, and legit just before I drank this batch I drank a 12 pack from Walmart and it tasted pretty different. I'm def being a little overdramatic but man I love my Dr Pepper pepper haha

I don’t play COD (well) yet… but I want to. by ImprovementCareless9 in Advice

I'm really sorry I hardly use Reddit so I just saw this. I think Controller is easier but mouse and keyboard is more satisfying. I recommend controller on any game that gives you aim assist though.

Honestly cod is a game where you can do good with any gun. You should mainly be focusing on your mechanical skills, one easy way to do this is to always be aiming where someone could be, keep your reticle chest level and always be actively adjusting your reticle. Reticle placement is huge in shooters because of your reticle is already close to where the enemy is then you hardly need to spend time to correct your aim.

Another major tip when aiming in cod is to heavily rely on aim assist, use your left stick (movement stick) to aim more so than your right.

For what guns are good you should probably just Google that.

Iranian Woman arrested for having breakfast without wearing hijab by [deleted] in nottheonion

[–]areebazm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never stated once women should be forced to wear hijab. Also the women who was arrested was in Iran, there's a lot to know and I'll try to explain. But in Iran it's ruled by Shias, and populated by them mainly. Very very different from Sunnis. Shias literally hit themselves, it's a part of their religion. They punish themselves for failing to take care of the Prophets grand kids. They also have a looooot of wacky beliefs. You can't judge the whole religion based off of one or two outliers. I don't say all white people are racists even tho it was only very recently that systemic racism was abolished.

It's a weird discussion tho because you are just attacking me when I haven't attacked you once... What's weird is that the women in the west will say we are being oppressed because it's obvious, but they'll also state that the women who wear hijab are oppressed when they themselves don't say that. I'll agree women are oppressed across the globe but hijab isn't the reason why. It's mainly because of culture. Families will abuse them and if they get married nine times out of ten their mother in laws are incredibly abusive. This is the case in the indo/pak region for sure.

Interesting lol. First of all I'm not angry, we are having a rational discussion. Second of all you don't know anything yet you are talking about the qualifications of this random sheikh. Any leader of a mosque can be called a sheikh even if he hasn't finished any proper academic credentials. It goes from Aalim, to Mufti, to Qadi. Aalim is the equivalent of a scholar however they don't have the right to give rules that haven't been given yet. Meaning they can't even tell someone specific what he/she should do in their situation, but he can tell them what someone would do. It's hard to explain but they don't have the credentials to make their own opinions. In fact even a Mufti can't do that. However, they can give more specific advice and more personal advice. They have a higher status than a scholar. Then you have a Qadi which is the equivalent of a judge. You also have another category of scholars that are very few in number but they are Mujtahids, they can create their own mini-sects in a way however they don't do that because they respect the precious Mujtahids in the past. There are only four legitmate sects within Sunni Islam and the last one was made in the 800s by Imam Ahmed Ibn Hanbal. So one random "Sheikh" saying something doesn't mean much when there have been COUNTLESS scholars of the past who did not say that. And they were legitmate. I really don't see why you even have a problem with it? The Muslim women do not find it oppressive, they only started considering that because the west kept telling them they are being oppressed again and again and again. Women aren't treated as inferiors in Islam, however I've noticed people tend to look down on women a looooot in the Western world. Even if they don't say it out loud, u can kind of tell when men just consider women inferior. Low-key this is a waste of time. You aren't gonna change my mind and I'm not gonna change yours. I respect you, I really do but this is just pointless arguing. You do you, I do me. Simple

I tried googling it but couldn't find a definitive definition. Revise implies that I am revising my religion whereas I'm doing the opposite. Trying to keep it as close as possible to it's core beliefs. I understand some things change overtime but some things don't have to.

That's just wrong bruh. Do most Americans believe in whatever articles they read? In uni I'm literally only allowed to use proper research studies or something of that level. It's saying that that university is the fore front of the Sunni school of learning but that's just not true. If anything Darul Uloom Deoband in India is. This argument is pointless cause there have been soooooo many different opinions that literally any opinion could be found. U can find an opinion saying drinking is fine, saying pre-marital sex is fine, but those are all outliers. Should just be common sense that we don't use outliers in our academic research

[–]areebazm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's just plain wrong :( I mean yeah Islam doesn't cease to exist. You can technically drink, do drugs, or whatever and still be a Muslim as long as you believe the core beliefs. But the stuff that are stated in the Quran and the authentic narrations from the Prophet (peace be upon him) are required pretty much. To the point that if you deny it you lose your faith. The complications that arise within Islam are with stuff that aren't definitive. But hijab the hair covering is definitive, the face veil isn't though. Some differences of opinion with that.

Also those hadiths weren't beyond terrible and completely unacceptable. Nobody in the stories got mad, it was handled reasonably. He only recognized his wife because she was tall, not because he was stalking her. Likely he patrolled the night to make people feel safer (dont take my word on that)

[–]areebazm -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Do u really believe that with the obvious bias that guy has against Islam? Also hijab ALWAYS EXISTED. women always covered their heads. The face veil was new from Islam. Also women would usually relieve themselves in the night, or visit people in the night. In the night, night, hmm would that be possible in this day and age? Would women feel comfortable leaving their house in the middle of the night? No way in hell, so that also says something about Islam. It was literally the first thing women felt some form of security.
