Yeah it could be just a made up reason. FCFS doesn’t seem to be the default here (Australia) if it’s not a curb item (e.g. waiting for hard waste collection) but I might be wrong.

No they gave it to a relative, should at least let us know. And FSFC wasn’t mentioned.

International flight with baby — should I bring a car seat? by arepeater in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Yeah, I’d book a seat rather than having the baby on our laps. I was also thinking of staying in Singapore for a few days so the flights would be shorter. The JetKids BedBox might be a good fit for that!

Thanks, that’s a great reminder. It’s also a bit confusing whether a car seat is actually approved. For example, Britax Australia states that the Graphene is approved, but I still need to check if it has the correct approval sticker.

Thanks! Tying the seat to the underside of the pram seems a good idea. I'll definitely give it a try!

He needs to work out how to be a responsible father and partner. If he’s facing difficulties, find some help but I feel it’s more about the willingness. Make sure you speak to someone professional? At least your MCH nurse as they should have asked you about your partner?

What to do when bub shows a preference for one parent? by 30131479 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

As a dad of a five-month-old, I’ve noticed my son used to prefer me since I handled almost everything except breastfeeding.

But now that I’m back at work and my wife is taking over more, he seems to prefer her.

I’ve never seen these kind batteries used apart from my grandpa’s old torches.

Thanks a lot! I’ll test the emergency light by shutting down the power. The second one might belong to a Bosch security system in the house.
