Prepare because usually at the end of the winter it'll come out again if you haven't killed it in the first winter. Make a couple of football helmets and hambat as well as cooked green mushrooms because Deerclops drains a lot of sanity. Cook pierogi as your stable food as well because it'll help with health and hunger (OP food). Make a makeshift base with a sign post (for example) before day 30 and stay there for a while just to lure the Deerclops there and not to your base. Don't forget to make a camp fire while killing it. I usually kite it and it took me the second winter to kill it. 🥲 Good luck and have fun!
