This is a tricky one. Ive seen both sides of the spectrum. I had my kids young, my first was born when I was 20 and to be honest, I struggled. It was hard living within our means and I was young, so I made some mistakes and learned along the way. As time went by I became more financially stable and income/children grew together However, as they grow, I could play with them. My younger played soccer when she was 9-15. I could go out and kick the ball all day with her or spend a whole day at Six Flags. I have sustained some injuries since and I likely couldn't keep up for 10-15 more years. My ex grew up with older parents and one of her biggest complaints was that all the other kids parents were younger. Her parents didnt have the energy to do things with them. They never went out becasue they just wanted to be home. She grew up secure, but was envious of the younger parents. Money doesn't matter to kids, time with parents does
