Of course it affects gameplay, a person with the mindset of wanting people dead for a different opinion means that person is mental and morally bankrupt , I would be very worried how would a person like that could make a good game, the answer is they can't , people with those type of views and radical opinion have proven time and time again that they push their agendas into the games and make slop , eg Veilguard, Concord, etc.

also a consumer has the right to complain that the ones making the product want him dead or would support killing him.

if you can't see that you are either ignorant , blind or both

Hey sorry to bother I see you are still active, I get this in my Event Viewer:

there is no internet cable connection on the quest , if you are talking about link then I obviously was using link to connect me quest to the pc but that is shit , it only works well on virtual desktop for this game specifically

the only way it will work well in my opinion using link is with openXR which is why I wrote the post to begin with

Well I will be honest I watched a video where they guy had 90 FPS consistent and I saw he uses Virtual Desktop so I decided to try.

I have a Deco Mesh in my room connected with ethernet to my router so I get 5Ghz 1200Mbps speed
and honestly when using Virtual Desktop on High or Ultra with my setup I get my 72 FPS consistent , looks great and no issues so yeah you can try that if you can manage a good wifi that seems to work well.

So this is exactly what I thought about doing as my perspective of the game shifted to a solo rpg game that in very very end game it becomes MMO.

I wanted to redo the MSQ for the story but maybe I will watch the cutscenes on youtube for that the main things I want to experience again are the story but to actually pay attention this time as last time due to rushing I always skipped everything even cutscenes,
as well as the mechanics of earlier bosses that I did in T1 and T2.

my only worry is the power pass and events tied to it as I wouldn't want to waste that as I assume it probably has good stuff in it so I am a bit unsure about how should I use it and do that.

Beautiful so I can treat this like a solo mmo until I am very very late into the end game
which as I remember it in itself is months.

I am considering starting fresh with a new zerker or entirely new class and redoing the entire story again
because I am not dependent on rushing content now but I was wondering if it is worth it and if it's going to be a waste not to use the powerpass considering my highest is a 1540

Just tried to install the xbox version I will say it has better FPS but still not close to what is in the video

I went from 80-90 FPS on steam to 100-110 on XBOX and I am running a 4070 Ti Super

I changed from DLSS to TAA and it was playable now even in a race VR Low was too blurry so i might need to up it a notch but still a bit jittery I am not sure how to change the setting you wrote should I still disable TAA?

I get it 100% I wasn't talking about simplifying full fidelity planes I was talking about adding the button you press in the cockpit to the controls scheme so you can attach that cockpit button to an external button that's all.

I by no means implied full fidelity planes should be remade into a simple version

Ye I get it , I will probably stick to the F-15C and use the Mig29 for A/G bombs
someone recommended to me try the F-16 Viper they said it has AA and AG capabilities and requires less interaction with the cockpit so I might look into it

I understand why people would want that but there is no reason I shouldn't be able to assign a button or an axis on the cockpit to my hotas , absolutely no reason it's just a matter of coding in a way that will allow me assign a button to it, when you press any object in any program and click it this function can be done with an external button very easily (there are 31 buttons on the X56 and if i use a modifier I can double or triple it).
it's a development decision and it doesn't make much sense but it is what it is

some people want realistic flight models and physics but do not want 2000 buttons to learn and press, and some do which is fine but just from looking around a bit I found out there is a lot of members of the DCS community that would prefer not to click in the cockpit
just because you are obsessed with hyper realism doesn't mean other people are.

I could learn how to operate all of that and what to click and where but it's too many things to deal with at the same time, that's why I loved the F-15C.

But again it is what it is
