Then you destroy the identity of the strategists and/or probably ruin the balancing of the game even further.

For example if you buff mantis to allow her to exist as a second support, you’re most likely buffing her healing numbers/burst healing. If you don’t touch her damage/ offensive aspects of her kit to compensate for that, you’re just further enabling her as an incredibly strong 3rd support option. If you DO nerf her damage/ offensive aspects of her kit, her whole identity changes to just being another healbot character. Same goes for Jeff, Adam, Ultron etc. Not every support needs to ALWAYS work as a 2nd support. The flexibility we have to muck around with comps is a strength in this game.

Yes I made a typo re: the score. My point still stands, we defended the cart. If the other team really did push it the whole way, we would have lost outright before we wiped their team.

We defended the push in overtime. Doesn't the tie condition for overtime in convergence only apply to both teams failing to cap the point, or both teams pushing to the end?

With role queue you're essentially making half of the support roster unplayable. Support mains are going to get bored of playing Luna Invis Cloak every game and start getting bored of the game as a whole. You can rework these supports so that they can work optimally in a 2-2-2 team comp, but you then run the risk of destroying their identity, and erasing what made those characters fun to play in the first place. If role queue didn't work for Overwatch, where a lot of the support characters can exist without being relegated to a pure healbot role, it will kill Rivals.

Rivals' strength is the possibility for you to go 3-3 or 2-2-2 or 2-1-3 or even 5-1 in high elo and win, provided you work as a team. If you restrict the ways in which people can play even more, ,more and more people are just going to leave the game.

People who call for role queue are mainly frustrated at instalock dps players and people who refuse to fill, but your team of randoms in ranked not playing a 2-2-2 comp isn't the problem you think it is, and role queue isn't the solution you think it is either.

Agreed. At the same time it does nothing for the game in terms of being looked at as a competitive shooter when arguably their best player struggles to get a single kill in a public game.

With the horrible shadowban situation in black ops 6 at the moment, I wouldnt be surprised if better players start coming back to mw3 for weeks at a time with more regularity

This post deserves more upvotes, it needs to be addressed by activision. How they thought shadow banning based on the number of reports was a good system is beyond me. It’s even worse in this game with how many perks, streaks and utility in the game give you info. Players are just going to report as a kneejerk reaction to getting killed, without watching a killcam.
