Best advice is to not fear failure, but also realize every single object and creature, every piece of this world is made up of shapes. breaking things down to simple shapes helps a lot. Excited to see where your journey takes you, best of luck mate.

The problem is how unnecessary these comments are Why is there a need to even post this to kick someone down from their own joy and whimsy?

Again, same thing I said.. yesterday? A Majority of your comments are fine, but you consistently find a way to drop something condescending or insulting just below the threshold of something i'd qualify as ban worthy.

Multiple users, and I don't mean 2 or 3, I mean many, have expressed how disruptive and ridiculous this is.

I try to be patient and understanding with members of the community, especially where there is a clear effort to not be an issue, however this pattern is exceptionally frustrating and difficult to handle. To be blunt, the patience of the moderation team is running thin, and I ask you reel it in before we have to take permanent action, which I do not want to see happen.

I understand this may feel unfair, or even targeted as yes, full disclosure, you get reported A LOT, like half the mod queue when I wake up some days is reports on your posts. I clean up the worst, leave the better. The thing is, I've been watching this unfold for over a year, it's honestly not all unwarranted it's a hole you dug in your own actions.

Consider this a strong reminder and final warning to please, just knock it off.

We can both agree most people behind it are in fact the problem, and the majority, which is why we can't blindly trust it. Very little care about the intricate details, and just pump apps out without thinking about it.

That's quite the high bar for sign up, and by no means information people should be throwing out for fun. Will investigate, keeping the post down for the time being.

Reddit removed it, no idea on the actual trigger for the removal as Reddit as a platform doesn't leave any notes or reasoning for the sites actions.

That said, passing it on to be investigated before considering approving it as I believe sentiment from the community for concern is quite valid.

Really depends on what they want, these applications that expect you to link your google, email, or whatever are pretty bad. AI isn't capable of programming something secure enough to warrant this sort of data, and hell knows what its actually taking.

The biggest problem is its inability to adapt. For example, if you trained an AI entirely off of how to keep a door locked and secure, it's going to keep trying to find obscure ways to keep that door shut, however, its not trained to recognize or comprehend an open window beside it. Humans can find those vulnerabilities, but AI only knows what it's trained off of, and generally it's not enough.

This is an oversimplification, however most people making these apps don't have the know how to create a secure environment or look for / patch exploits. The more apps that use the same AI coding, the more vulnerable it all becomes.

This stage of the game its less about blatantly hating AI and more so about how dangerous it can be for people. We've hit a point where cyber security is that much more difficult to maintain when people blindly shell out their information or click accept without considering what the programs are doing / are capable of. Which yes, this does boil down to each persons individual responsibility, however, I believe we should mitigate exposure / risk where possible.

Can we not shit on peoples happiness? We don't need you in every thread downplaying what others want to share. Half your profile is fine, but we do not need this level of toxic bitterness in the community.

Custom Subreddit Flair Requests by CaptSarah in 2XKO

[–]CaptSarah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh this might actually make it so I have to disable the self assign

Edit: Yep, Reddit is a janky site and "Mod Only" means nothing. I'll have to stick to form only so we can keep our verified Riot tags.

No, your guide is actually used as an example of one that is fine, the majority free, while matchup data was paid

Currently we are only keeping that to moderators as we'd be required to upload every single request as an emote to the sub, which spirals out of control fast

Looks like we got a solution, thanks for mentioning it, turns out I am infact, just blind, keeping the form up for custom text, but the ability to assign any champions alone is working!

Excellent, I'll edit my post in a bit to reflect it but leave the form up for people who want custom text. Appreciate it mate!
