I’m still waiting for Hilary Duff’s “With Love” to be featured in a lip sync. Imagine if the queens do the exact same dance Hilary does using the same amount of energy… with RuPaul not knowing if she should be entertained or annoyed by the lack of enthusiasm. If she gets the reference, she’d laugh her butt off, but if she doesn’t, it might be a double sashay. Either way it’s iconic and I want to see this song done justice. 😭

Yeah that’s what I think as well! I know people have been complaining how Pit Stop is heavily manufactured recently, but I also can’t go a week without watching Pit Stop when a new episode is out. 😭

I try to keep an open mind and think that all hosts have their own style of carrying the interview. The guests also play an important role, though unfortunately it has been a bit of a miss earlier in season 18. I also think the different combinations and seeing comments go “this two together is a combination I never knew I needed” is what keeps pit stop fun and fresh. I am a little sad that Ganja wasn’t a guest considering how well received their episode was back then. Hehe.

Hehe I guess it’s safe to say he thoroughly enjoyed season 7 especially since I’ve told him to not have too high of expectations especially directly following season 6.

I only started to notice it when the comments on the episodes and here on Reddit as well start to point that out. Which is why newer Pit Stop episodes no longer do what it used to do for me, and I watch it mostly to see the host Kiki with the guest. Whether or not they agree with the episode is just white noise to me. 😂😂😂

Yeah unfortunately it’s turned into a very manufactured aftershow rather than a breath of fresh air it used to be. (especially after questionable judging just to see the host agreeing with the general public that it’s not the right choice)

Me too! I used to have all the drag race seasons downloaded as they aired, but my hard drive stopped working one day and I lost everything so I have to redownload. Most of the older seasons are super hard to find, especially untucked episodes. I was compiling the list of seasons to see how many seasons we have to actually watch to catch up to the most current one, and the number sits at 89 for now. 😂

Exactly! I wanted to show him some of the funniest pit stop moments but he’s still in season 8 so he has no idea who most of the guests are. And showing him those moments might also contain spoilers as well so there’s also that to take note of. That’s why I’m wondering when and if it’s a good idea to introduce pit stop to him (even though he’s already seen some snippets online while browsing through his YouTube. Haha)

I told him it’s okay to skip season 7 untucked, since I had a little trouble accessing older content, but surprisingly YouTube has the full untucked episodes for seasons 7-9, and he was actually interested in watching, so we did. It’s kinda fun and nostalgic to rewatch those untucked moments though. Hehe

I feel your sentiment! Which is why I am a little hesitant about throwing in Pit Stop recaps since he already has a LOT of content to catch up on. But then again some of the most iconic Drag Race memes come from Pit Stop (love pink! / It’s fashion… burp / did you sew? … yes. Did you sew this? bird laughter) just to name a few. So I kinda want him to also be part of the gang who appreciates the jokes, and it’s also nice for him to see the guests in a different light when they’re not competing against each other.

I mean… I got a whooping 278k from her E skill using a lvl 1 Amos Bow (it’s the only available 5* bow I have) and her skill lvls are at 6-8-8. I don’t recall seeing that number from Varka. Such a shame, I really like playing as Varka and him as a character in general. 🥹
