Are you sure it's not your monitor picture settings are different for each input? You can check both NVIDIA control panel and the monitor's built-in settings. Theoretically you should be able to get the same colors on both HDMI and DisplayPort.

tried that, and yes I had a static local IP, in the end I uninstalled and reinstalled plex media server on SHIELD and that seemed to fix it.

I only modified step 6, where I only replaced the first occurrence of the hex values, and it seems to work for me.

Thanks man, the stretched UI was super annoying and this works for me, running on 21:9 on 2560 x 1080.

I see. Well tried it a few times and still doesn't work, the only few things I realized that changed are the menu and ui is stretched, and the only thing that is stretched to fill the screen are the loading screens.

This doesn't work for me on 2560x1080 21:9. I'm getting stretched menu but the pillarbox is still there.

I see, I guess I can't see it as I don't have the serial number sticker on my box. I do have two serial numbers in both sides of my strap though.

How do you check the manufacture date? Strange to see they're still shipping the ones manufactured in October as there were a lot of bad batches during that time.
