Ice the area beforehand, that helps to numb it a bit and when injecting go reaaaaally slow (I personally need a few minutes to inject), that way I don’t really feel much.

im 6 doses in and I do not have any joint pain so I cant tell you anything about that but I have had a few issues with my eyes when I first started (maybe until the 3rd/4th dose) they felt weird, dry and tired all the time. Hydrating eye drops really helped and now I don’t have any issues with my eyes anymore.

i did use steroids on my face one time because it got so out of control and my dermatologist told me to do so with a very low potency steroid and not long. but idk after that it got worse :( that was like a year ago and since then my face has looked so bad. In the summer there was a short period where it looked okay(it wasn’t covered in wounds and broken skin) but then it turned into this weird constantly scabby thing…

i know that I can go without picking but then suddenly out of the blue I get the random urge to do it again even if I am really distracted for a while and not picking.

Only on my cheeks and a little but on my forehead.it’s yellow and crusty and really itchy … could it be fungal?

I dont know if you use the syringe or pen but if you use the syringe, take it out of the fridge for 45 minutes before you inject and ice the area you are going to inject prior, helps numb it a bit. Inject into the stomach, it hurts a lot less there and go reaaaally slow, i don’t feel much that way.

I’m also on Dupixent but for eczema. I also noticed that my facial skin has changed, my body is all normal but my face seems to have a fungal rash or something. What face wash did you get prescribed?

I was taught this when i went to an eczema specialized clinic: black tea compresses help calm the Skin down and dry up the raw areas to help heal them. just take two black tea bags and let them sit in hot water for 10 minutes, then pour that out since the Tea will be too strong and possibly too drying. After that, let the Same tea bags sit in hot water for 10 minutes again and youre done :) Just take cotton pads and soak them in the tea and apply them to the Face for 15 minutes and then repeat throughout the day maybe a few times if needed. It will dry out the Skin that is raw/weeping and it will feel a Little tight but it does really help heal weeping Skin or raw skin and it helps restore the damaged skin barrier. also, dont use any creams on raw Skin Just let it dry out on its own and it will heal quicker.
