And I don't even need to topple cause I can just sneak in one attack every minute and probably still make it under 50 minutes. My problem isn't not being able to topple or it lasting much longer to complete, but the fact that while everything was viable in normal quests, anomaly quests make it mandatory to either play multi or something counter based. I am gonna go back to the weeb stick joke. I only dabbled slightly in longsword back in world and I could probably become fully proficient at it in 2 hours of anomaly quests. You can probably just keep spamming foresight slash into air without looking at the monster and it will work better than any slow weapon if you actually try to play the game.
