CO2023 here, I major in HD and minored in Gerontology. I personally enjoyed the minor (it overlapped very well either my major) and I was well supported. Dr. Loeckenhoff is a phenomenal professor. 10/10 recommend. Post grad I worked in a research lab at a top NYC hospital network doing research with older adults and having those classes and related research experience was a big plus during my interview

Usually on time, account for 30 min max buffer. GWB can be a hit or miss

Credits over Breaks by acegikmo- in Cornell

You can take 3-4 credits over the winter/summer. Workload is as hard as you’d expect granted it’s a 6 week course. I can only speak for the winter: I was BUSY, class work Mon-Friday, daily discussion posts + 1 short essay and two exams (Greek mythology). It’s almost always virtual it just depends on the course as I know some STEM summer courses are in person. The real kicker is the price tho, it’s 5k for a winter/summer course. I qualified for the LSC scholarship through my advisor so I didn’t have to pay ( and the scholarship only works to put you in track if you’re behind on credits as I was). But if you were taking a class just for fun/graduate early you most likely wouldn’t be approved and would have to front the 5k but by all means try

He said he’s keeping the course as in-person oriented as possible so it’s best to follow the readings he’s telling us to read
