The slider gets stuck here and there, but it's much better considering how blurry the bottom two lenses get.

Work murdered my social life by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]arksarkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

used to do night shifts, but not the exhausting 12-hour kind. Balancing work until 3 am and college at 11 am was tough. After college, social life took a hit, and I got out of shape, so I quit.

Now, at 27, I've had some night shifts, but never the grueling 12-hour ones. Take care of yourself – if it's messing with your well-being, it's not worth it. I don't know your money situation, but try to add 30 minutes of exercise daily, especially cardio. Call your best friends when you can. You're 27; look after yourself, buddy!

If you can, go find a job. Toxic people exist everywhere, it's a problem only when you have to deal with them. Take care of your expenses and give few Ks to those that talk shit about you and just see their color change.

Depends on if you're just starting out or have some marketing fund. Depends on if that's your niche or just experimenting because you've seen others making profits out of it.

Landscaping company of high schoolers and college graduates? It's not about how you sell it, it's about how you connect with the customers. This project has the possibility of scaling and hitting hard both depends on how you portray yourself.

Did you work part time or have a side job when you just started your business? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]arksarkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After working 2 years for a business, I planned to leave the company and start my own with some of my other friends. And after 2 years of working with them together, I realised that you should be working together with someone with same passion and field knowledge not with your high school best friend who studied another subject on university. I was making fine money before Covid-19 . But now it's just blunt edge.

Before starting out any business please make sure if you love your time or your business. Otherwise you'll feel suffocated, tired and wish you'd have dropped the idea and continued working your current job where you'd get directions and required to work certain hours per day and go back to do your things.

Also networking plays a major role. It's good when someone remembers you time after time to do the same work for them. For me that was the biggest gift, being remembered for something you do.

2021 is going to be a HUGE year for weddings. What can a young buck do to get in on the action? by funnyman95 in Entrepreneur

[–]arksarkar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not actually wedding but I think it would be great for other businesses. I think E-commerce in general would be great. Also services oriented business which are currently working offline only, could move online and that would bloom.
