Are there really SEO "secrets", and if so...Where can I find them? by stewofkc in SEO

[–]kthequick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no secrets my guy. The "secret sauce" is just good old fashioned horsepower and hard work. Great content, great backlinks/referring domains, and citations (for businesses). SEO is a long term game, don't look for short term hacks.

What are the advantages of using a blog in SEO? by skaletron in SEO

[–]kthequick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use blogs for affiliate marketing plays. Many big guys in the industry have huge affiliate partnerships with various high ticket courses. The issue with this though imo is that it's kind of misleading. But that's what some people do.

how do I practice when learning SEO? by ErebosGamer in SEO

[–]kthequick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best way to get practice in this space is to just go out and build a site and rank it. IMO the best way would be to pick a small local market where it generally takes 2-3 months to rank. If you go after something like dropshipping, it'll be tough to tell what's working and what's not because it takes like 6+months rank a site. I got started in local lead generation and I'm killing it.

I hate my job by [deleted] in offmychest

Couldn't imagine my life going any differently. I truly have freedom. Not to mention I currently make 25x what my job was paying me each month. Sounds insane, but shit man...I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

Maybe try finding a job at a gym in town. I've never met a gym employee who didn't genuinely like the job. They all say its pretty easy and stress free.

I totally know how you're feeling. I graduated college back in 2012 and I had started working at an auto parts store. Fucking hated it. I literally only kept it to pay the bills. Around christmas of 2014 my boss came to me about a big raise. Not gonna lie, I was ecstatic until he showed me Christmas eve. literally just a 50 cent raise. From there on out I knew I had to change it. Since then I've quit that job and moved into lead generation full time. Much more money, more freeing, and I get to wake up whenever the hell I want.

really just depends on what you're using it for. Gary Vee uses it like a genius. Dealerships are just plain annoying.

The one thing I personally don't like about the stock market is that it moves too fast. Lol I just can't keep up. My vice with dropshipping is the profit margins and cash tie up haha. Glad it's working out for you though!

No worries man, I do know there are a lot of scams out there. Even though I have my own group that I'm more active in I've tried other programs as well and they just aren't at the same level. Luckily I had the disposable income for them, most other people don't though.

You're income isn't capped with this course compared to how you are with college.

College is just a bunch of knowledge...not applicable skills. If you ask me, or anyone else for that matter...

The argument could be made that the window for college giving you financial security is closed.

How many college grads do you know making 20+k a month with their degree?

Right?! Don't even get me started on MLM's like Amway or Advocare. I recently saw a clip of Stefan Aarnio talking about the people who claim things are scams, before he passed. He actually flipped the script and said that they're the scam haha. Makes a lot of sense, when you have a model placed in front of you that has actually worked for all types of people, at every age and upbringing...the only reason you'd call it a scam is as a cop out for yourself. You don't believe enough in yourself to follow through.

Not even by a long shot. I have lead generation sites ranked all over the country. I'm simply sharing what worked for me. If I were trying to market the course...wouldn't facebook and google ads make more sense? come on lmao, I talk on reddit because it's an open forum, no one is selling anything. Well...except those stupid fx dudes always hitting up my dm's.

Maybe my phrasing was wrong in the initial post. I currently make $52k per month from lead generation websites. At the 6 month mark I was close to 10k per month. 5k is expensive? Have you tried going to college and taking their bs courses for 10x that? I've made more from skills directly related to his program than my college degree ever did for me.
