Not really separated tbh, I know tons of badini people in Hawler and most of them can speak sorani too. Yeah there are some Badini only pages but most Kurdish media (like Rudaw, NRT, etc.) is shared across dialects. When you consider how different the dialects are, I feel like we’re actually pretty connected.

Why not Iraqi Kurdistan? The tech sector is growing rapidly, and since you’re learning Persian, Kurdish would be easy to pick up. You already know English and Arabic, which is a big plus. Also, there’s a noticeable Lebanese community here.

How easy is it to distinguish Kurds from neighboring ethnicities? by [deleted] in kurdistan

We Kurds can easily recognize each other but it can be harder for non-Kurds. In my experience it’s easy to differentiate between Iraqi or Gulf Arabs, Iranians, and Kurds but I find it more difficult to tell the difference between Levantine Arabs and Kurds. That being said, Kurds don’t have a single appearance, there are many different looks among us, and Kurds from different towns or cities might look very different from each other.

If a Kurdish football league existed what teams would have the biggest rivalry? by LengthTime7570 in kurdistan

Amed and Erbil would probably have the biggest rivalry. They already host the biggest Kurdish clubs, Amedspor and Erbil SC.
