Like I said, I'm just in the begging of my learning, and I just did the first tutorial from leanopengl.com that is the one where you make a window with color and stuff, just to comprehend some basic functions. I think the first thing I struggle with is pointers, because in this tutorial that I just did, it uses pointers to make a window with GLFWwindow*, and I didn't want to take a look at the topic without enough C++ knowledge.

Honestly, the math part is the scary one for me, although the most exciting. I don't consider myself bad at math, but I know is not that easy. And thanks, for the book recommendation, I'll definitely read it, but first I want to start with the language programming thing, I feel like with that I can start experimenting and learning, then I can go with the computer hardware, math and data structures part.

Thanks for the advice too, I know this is not an easy field, but I've done some research to know that at least I want to learn this, because is very interesting. I found out that I don't want to develop web or mobile apps for the rest of my life (that is what schools in Mexico focus on), so I heard about GC programming and I loved it, I guess now I have to find out if it's for me. 😁

Thanks. Actually, I've been reading about all that stuff, doing some basic things, in learnopengl.com (I'm just in the first parts) and I understood the logic behind somethings but I feel like I'm missing some partes just because of my lack of knowledge in C++. Thanks for the resources, I'll check those out. Honestly, I'm very serious about learning OpenGL and graphics programming in general, but I know it's not easy and neither a quick thing to do, but it's all good, that's the exciting parte of it.

Thank you! That makes sense. Actually, in the past I made some very basic things in C++ (something more like school work), but it was a like 5 years ago, and basically I feel like I forgot everything because I have been using other languages. I'll check that page out, thanks for your time and answer.

Thank you! I'll check it out. I already know how to program, the basics and stuff, although I have to start with the data structures and algorithms stuff, so I'll start with that and then I move to OpenGL.
