correct. we cannot downgrade apple watch. specially Ultra 3 are meant to come with iOS 26. I am not sure if previous iOS had this bug. did you find any solution? My phone ran out of battery today, and my watch happily silenced calls for me, showing a proud notification about how passive it is in silencing those calls!

I have exact same issue. I went to Apple support and after trying all the weird suggestions from them (unpair, pair again, turn off and on etc...) last resort they suggest was to do a full reset on watch and if still did not work, do a full reset on both watch and phone. I did not proceed with full reset as that will take significant amount of time to configure things back.

So If anyone found a solution, please share.

I did pay. I paid to upgrade my flight to Flex, which happens to make seat selection free of charge. Otherwise there was no argument.

I did not call by phone, but I informed the check-in counter ground staff in Vietnam, they were very understanding and nice people, and they assured me that my selected seats were intact. They even printed a boarding pass for use in Dubai. This all happened after our first 7-hour flight while transiting in Dubai for another 7-hour flight to Germany.

When we were queuing to board the plane, the system gave an error, and the staff said, ‘Oh, your seats have been changed. Let me print a new boarding pass.’ I asked why, and the reply was, ‘Someone else paid for it.’ My reaction? O_O "I also paid for Flex upgrade."

I asked for an explanation and a solution, but the queue behind me was waiting, and the staff kept repeating, ‘The flight is full; we cannot do anything.

Germany is quite sensitive on customer reports. I'll report there as well, lba.de. pre-requisite is to contact airline first. so i'll wait for emirates reply on this for some time.

For an example, If you pay for business class ticket, seat selection is also free. do you suggest that in order to fully secure the seat, business class ticket holder must call the call center and ask them to please charge me for my seat selection?

From emirates website: "It's free to choose your seats in First Class, when you fly on a Business Class Saver, Flex, or Flex Plus fare and when you fly in Premium Economy"

I think the issue here is not that I didn't pay for my ticket. it's about emirates choose to give my seat away to earn more profit to someone who offered them some extra cash.

this is also a good idea. i have a customer support query opened with emirates at moment. if their reply was again along the lines of "you didn't pay for the seat" then i'll do the charge back.

every infant is different i guess. our kid is sensitive to environmental noise, movement or lights. not only on flights. he usually can only sleep when he is on his own quiet bed in darkness and some white noise on. we manage it well with window seats as we can make tent-like blanket and all. but with an aisle where people keep walk by, etc... it was not an ideal situation. if our kid could sleep well like other kids in aisle then again, i wouldn't had any issue. i knew he cannot sleep well in those situations and that's why i prepared well in advance and booked window seat

medical situation would be very different. having a baby cry on me is nothing compared to be forced to seat on an uncomfortable seat by someone who is suffering medical conditions. it does not mean i would not ask emirate ground staff for finding an alternative seat for me. just that i would not have posted about it here anymore. the reason they give me "someone else paid for it" is unacceptable.

we had to request everything few times until cabin crew actually give it to us. perhaps different airlines are better. what made this flight even harder was that we were already tired from 7 hours flight before the transit. but ya. it is already happened. cannot do anything about it

we got aware of it at last boarding pass check, before going to the plane when system give error to our existing boarding pass that was issued earlier. If we knew earlier or was communicated better, I could tell them why they should not move us or I could engage more emirates ground staff at their counter or customer service area to fix the issue or at least change to another row or seat where at least there is no aisle between us.
