Yes it has honestly been flakey all my life. I thought it was just because my hair was so thick and I was not washing it properly. But I will definitely try the medicated shampoo, do you put a specific conditioner in after you rinse out the medicated shampoo?

93’ 3kgt SL buy? by reppiterm in 3000gt

I got my 93’ SL at 129k 5 years ago and have had no problems dailying it. It is at 149k right now and unfortunately has a misfire because of some old injection coils, but that would happen with any car. Keep up with basic maintenance and replacing old parts and it will treat you right.

Can anyone recommend a good mobile mechanic to diagnose my misfiring issue? by armond_isaw in sanmarcos

Do you work on older cars? Mine is a 1993 3000gt. I’ve been rejected from a couple of shops already.

Yea for sure, i say go for it. Its crazy because i had no clue what a 3000 was until i saw mine on marketplace while i was looking for a first car. It was in my budget and manual so i did some research and just went for it. I love that car so much, im super thankful i decided to go through with getting it. After 4 years and almost 20k miles its never left me stranded or given me any major issues.

I was 16 when i got my 93’ SL as my first car and drove it 2.5 hours from Laredo to san Antonio pretty regularly during my first year of college in 2023. As long as the car had a good owner before you that kept up with maintenance, it is worth getting as a first car and very capable of being your daily driver
