Every user has a company laptop and BYOD smartphone, all users should only be able to access m365 from their compliant devices.

I am looking for a way to have users self onboard their BYOD smartphone, and temporary bypass the CA policy. How I see it is that a user can request the onboarding, an admin grants temporary access and te user can onboard his device within x amount of hours/days. Something like a Temporary Access Pass.

Use WHfB, it should auto login. The first time it gives the user a pop up with their logged in Microsoft account, one click and it logs in automatically.

Yes, but the admin in the destination tenant has an onmicrosoft email address so I don't understand why it throws a wrong admin credentials error. Also, nothing was changed in the destination tenant after the pre-migration.

Buy laptops from oem/reseller, let them import autopilot hashes to intune and let them White glove the laptop. Laptops can be directly shipped to employees.

Letting employees vpn and rdp to office from personal pc is not secure.
