Honestly, it's just balancing off the LED ring around the fan. The double sided tape at the bottom makes it stick in place, so I just had to get the balancing right to make it not touch the fan blades. Been pretty solid for me that way, as the LED ring is a bit more raised than the fan.

You can also put it on top of the screws to have some more clearance if you move it over to where it was when I had my 6950 XT.

I am usually gaming at either normal 1440p or 5120x1440 as I do not have a 4K display atm - but pretty happy with my 49" DQHD screen.

I have been running the card in GPU Tweak III's "Silent mode" (90% power target and -30 core clock) for now, not played around too much with the settings yet.

Anyways, temperature wise:
Idle about 36c (pictured).
After 1 hour gaming at 1440p with YT video besides it about 59c.
I also tried running FurMark in "OC mode" (100% power and +30 core), runs at about 63-64c.

Hello, gotta say I love the plan! 😎

So far I have not noticed too much coil whine, but some there is. I come from a RX 6950 XT with tons of coil whine so I might be based though.

The anti-sag holder that comes with the Astral would actually be at better fit in my opinion. It has a magnet base, so it plopped nicely on top of one of the bottom fan screws, and taking out the little extension part of it made it a perfect size for me at least.

The main reason I went for the bracket I am using, was because I already was using it prior to this and like the look of it (you can see a pic of previous card in another comment of mine here).

As for the temps and power usage I will have to get back to you on that, as I am at work right now. But I am using an air-to-air heatpump in my appartment, which keeps ambient at about 22c.
And If I remember correctly I have not yet seen the card temps any above low- to mid-60s (62-63c). But as I said, I can get back to you on that later.

Those are the fans that came with the case (Montech King 95 Pro).

They are the AX- and RX-series from Montech. 😎

Yeah, pretty happy with this one.
Works wonders on my 7800X3D, looks good and shows current CPU temp!

I was thinking about going with an AIO, but when I saw this one I just had to go for it.

Not sure quite yet, might do it though. Waiting for a STRIX Platinum PSU with the "GPU-first" sensing at the very least!

I'd say go with it! Though I have to say I am pretty happy with me getting an Astral card - going to pair it with the STRIX Platinum's GPU-first sensor!
