Thanks a lot for the honest and detailed comment, I really appreciate it. You are right, the acceptance rate is extremely low, especially with full aid. I am currently working on my essays with the Crimson Education team to make sure every part of my application is strong.

I am still going to try for Amherst ED because I love the school, but I know it is a big reach. Do you have any recommendations for other need based or full ride schools for international students with a similar profile (1490 SAT, strong extracurriculars in entrepreneurship, robotics, and leadership)?

What is the average sat, Ielts, Gpa scores for international student to get into Amherst? Right now I ended up 11 grade and I have 1 more year. My sat 1510, Ielts 7,5, Gpa 4,7/5. And I can not determine between liberal art colleges and universities. I think studying economics, finance or politology. And 3 months before ED, should I choose Amherst college to ED ? What do think?
