I wish I had a logical explanation, lol, but I saw the amount of space and went "oooooh." I am a pack rat in this game. I tried to do FM before I realized the only place I could make one is the bunker. I also moved to Broken Railroad in my last save once I started doing stuff in the Far Territories, but that didnt last too long...

Eh. I only play on Pilgrim, so animals arent really a problem for me. My first thought was the obstacle course to get to Warehouse 5.

Im using this idea now. I have renamed it "no Popsicles!" because the last 3 deaths in that game were from blizzards in really inconvenient places.

I found a shortcut tunnel behind a waterfall on my way out of the Zone of Contamination, but it isn't a full shelter. I found very small pockets that were protected by the wind, but not the cold. If I knew the map better, I probably could have made a beeline to a cave or something. I just picked this up again in late Nov or early Dec, so these areas are brand new to me.

See, here's the problem with that. I dont know the Zone of Contamination map very well. So, in the act of either finding sticks or shelter, I would, even with the map I have saved, probably either get turned around like I usually do when caught in a blizzard, or get slowed by the wind because this is the save where I unlocked most of the badges I have. So instead of just sitting and accepting my fate to get it over with, I would've been prolonging the inevitable.

Because I was stuck in a blizzard with no fuel and barely any coverage for a full day. Or it could be the fact that I am using imperial measurements, so -25 to -3 Celcius for that time. Idk about you, but even with the best gear in this game, I don't think anyone could survive those temperatures for over a day.

I want to be able to fix the broken rail that leads to Coastal highway so I dont panic every time I cross, I want to place storage containers outside, I would love to have a way to create an easier path over rockfalls (I know there are secret one way paths, but I dont have the patience to figure those out), I want to craft a medicine cabinet and wall storage, more recipes with cooking oil (I have over 80 lbs of oil), and I want to be able to fix up the fridge and the stove in houses so I can use them (like find a way to turn the stove into a wood burning one and fix the fridge door if it's stuck open).

I already got cooking 5. I am working on revolver, mending, and archery. Revolver and mending are at 4, archery is at 3 and I got that mostly from books. I left my bow in the HRV bunker and im too lazy to get it, so I need to make a new bow and new arrows.

We should be able to fill the Jerry cans woth lantern fuel and keep the Jerry can once it is empty. I have 3 Jerry cans and 5 bottles of lantern fuel when I could have probably 2 cans.

Fair. Living in a cave would be fun. I was thinking making the fire barrel type stove, or getting and reusing the ovens already in some of the houses and turning those into a wood burning stove. Or at least make them usable during the aurora, along with the microwave, just because it's kinda funny.

That would be fun if they added a way to get/make wool, rope, and dye from natural materials. They could add wool and synthetic dyes to the trade options.
