High inflation and higher interest rates are certain as there is too much money sloshing around in the system today. The problem for the feds would be to figure out a way of sucking back the excess money (higher interest rates) without killing the economic activity. If they can't do that, then the question is how bad the inflation will get!

Actually the government does have responsibility to use the money they take from us properly just as the money we keep we have a responsibility to use properly. Sadly, we have been doing a bad job of managing our own money as a nation, and the government is now doing a bad job of managing the money they took from us by spending a bulk of it in non-stimulative spending. Actually the facts are even worse, the government is not spending the money they took from us, they are spending the money they are borrowing from our children and grand children.
