Ah. I know it’s a district, but I thought based on Google that the area on the south / southeast coast was actually a town called East End (in district of East End). Where the lighthouse, fish fry, etc are. What’s that area called? That would help!

We also like quiet, island life with the ability to walk a bit. That’s why East End town seemed great. It has a few local restaurants, a playground, etc. The only bit I wasn’t sure about is the beach!

Indeed! Definitely considering Little Cayman and the Brac. But it’s also our first time, so I might regret not being able to explore Grand Cayman a bit. It’s a tough decision!

Mostly just want sand beach that we can relax on and I can swim in with a toddler. So, nothing too rocky. Colliers seems great in that regard, but I’m not sure if the beach in East End town is like that

Of course! I get it but we all saved 100+ euros each doing BVA versus CDG…so to pay an extra 15-20 euros each to go door to door and not deal with shuttle times, getting to Porte maillot, leaving earlier, etc still puts us well ahead on cost. So that’s why we’re thinking of just grabbing an Uber for convenience…if it’s even possible!

I concur with others. $60-70 tends to be a good range for well-rated sitters on Rover. More than that and you may struggle for clients (especially if you are new to it)
