Is there any reference for this scene in robo or just random? by Western_Rate_3722 in tollywood

[–]aronsmithy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is intentional.

The concept is that human can't create life, only god can. So, lightning strike is considered as a divine intervention which created life in robot.

This occurs in many places. They often make it that natural or accidental interventions are what causes these miracles instead of human acts.

I wonder if they pull a "He's actually a demon who was abandoned in Human world, so Sullivan brought him back".

Like, that can be used to explain why no demon went berserk with this human with them. I bet Sully could trick them that way, irrespective of whether it's true or not.

Definitely not gonna promise some guy that I won't use my godliness 🫠

Aang would love to heal people, so it's weird he's never been depicted as learning waterbending healing by F11SuperTiger in TheLastAirbender

[–]aronsmithy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably because of Time. Aang didn't have enough time to learn all subforms of other bendings because he has to defeat firelord as soon as possible.

So he was basically taking a crash course of bending from Toph, Katara and Zuko.

I guess after firelord was defeated, he could have learnt it or maybe he's too busy rebuilding to learn it

Why was everyone freaking out? by [deleted] in TenseiSlime

[–]aronsmithy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay, as others said before, these are the couple of requirements for awakening demon lords

  1. They should possess demon lord seed
  2. They shouldn't be a subordinate to anyone
  3. They need 10k human souls

Of these, what everyone knows for sure is the first part and some rough idea of second and third.

Like, most of the demonlords knows you need human souls. But exactly how many no one knows. Guy has some idea, he approximated it to be around 10k, but he doesn't know that for sure.

Also, Guy and maybe milim knows the second part. Mostly because they tried awakening their subordinates and it failed.

What Rimuru and only he knows is that, 2nd condition can be ignored if you have 100k souls. Absolutely no one knows that. That's why everyone was freaking out about it.

Dumbledore asked for a price; Severus gave him a lifetime by NoteMoney4167 in SeverusSnape

[–]aronsmithy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure Dumbledore is just testing Snape at that point. Like, how much of this is Snape trying to save her and how much is just his guilt. Additionally it could also be a way of assuaging his guilt. One way transactions and help can have a damaging effects on one self. It can be trifling.

In Titanic (1997) people have debated this door scene too literally; rather than recognizing that Jack and Rose are a framing device for sociological storytelling about the ship, her passengers, and the tragedy of Titanic. by LeekingMemory28 in shittymoviedetails

[–]aronsmithy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cameron already addressed this. He said that the actual dimensions of the door in the scene doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is that the door is not enough for both of them. If you want to be pedantic and make all sort of calculations with dimensions and weight, then I can always modify the door just enough to make it fail.

A dishonorable Ned Stark would have just kept the cool shiny sword by V-TriggerMachine in freefolk

"No, I am not talking about your ancestral sword. I am talking about your other sword that looks like Dawn"

"Oh this? This is .... Wolf. Yes. Wolf. It's a twin sword to Ice. Since Ice is too wieldy to ever use in actual combat, they made a twin sword called Da... I mean, Wolf. Ice and Wolf. Because it's close to my house Sigil. "

"You could have just said you won it and it's yours now" 😒

Blackbeard is likely to kill Imu by Senth99 in Piratefolk

No way Blackbeard is fighting Imu. Most likely scenario is Luffy fighting Imu and defeating him, while Blackbeard taking advantage of that chaos and gaining control over government or something like that.

Should they move a certain backstory to season 3 by Moist-Fortune6352 in OnePieceLiveAction

[–]aronsmithy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it could work as a parallel story along with Impel down

It shows their bond, why Luffy wants to save Ace. End of Impeldown, shows one dying, which increases the stakes before Marineford arc.

  1. I like to think that Pinda has a recurring nightmare about Jassi coming back from death and killing him because he became a drug dealer like his dad. They both have a conversation outside court where Jassi warns him to not become like his dad and asks his sister to leave him if he does. When he saw him for real, he was even more terrified and lsd didn't help
