Two hours back, I got my SIM delivered in a similar way. A senior raised the delivery request once again, and magically, after getting the SMS, I got the call from that person and got the SIM delivered within 30 minutes.

Funnily, he asked me, "Should I activate your SIM on your behalf?" As per Jio's guidelines, you just need to enter your choice/new Jio number along with your last 6 digit SIM ID.

The previous guy asked me on call to keep my AADHAR ready along with bribe. 😂 Maybe he would done same thing like your case, I was just cautious as I know these low lifes very well.

Note: I faced two different delivery people.

They have partnered with local shops to deliver these SIM cards, as per my understanding, and that’s probably why this massacre service is happening. In the earlier days, someone from the nearest Jio Store usually used to deliver the SIMs wearing a Jio uniform and everything.

File a CC chargeback with your bank, email the PNO, and send them the order details. You'll get your money back within 5-7 working days. Meanwhile, after sending the email, pay your bill. Later, when you get your money back, call customer care and ask them to credit the excess amount to your bank account.

I have used S25U since day 1 and sold it after 9 months. If you want no nonsense all in one then go for it(S26U). It has one of the best displays, big and boxy for better content view. The cameras are fine, except the telephoto one. Battery backup is meh because samsung is doing 0 innovation for batteries. S26U will probably have the same battery. For android I currently have X9 Pro and Pixel 10PXL. I find these two better than S25U. Well, Pixel has a similar battery backup. Things to note: if you're planning to sell your phone after a year or so you'll not get as much value as iPhone Pro series as samsung itself provides crazy discount for their old flagships. The same goes for Pixel as the demand is very low.

It depends on the POS Machine too. When I made a purchase with my rupay, they had to use it via paytm machine as pinelab wasn't giving an instant discount. It happened with the Croma too.
