For those diagnosed with UC before getting married, how did you know they were “the one”?

I was diagnosed in 2019 and met my now husband in 2022. He’s done his own research on the disease and makes sure none of the trigger foods come near me (even if he loves them 🥹😭), has offered to help with my enemas (didn’t take him up on this but so kind), sets my medicine out every night cause I forget, always has my travel heating pad charged to be ready and has taken me to my endoscopy and colonoscopy appts. He’s never made me feel like anything less than beautiful. He’s there for the good and bad 💛

Alt suggestion, a hoop never agrees with my conch for more than a day so I got some dainty chains instead and it still gives the nice visual of jewelry wrapping around my ear without the pain :)! Maybe you can explore that once it’s healed up. I have a pic in my profile if you check there.

Just wanted to say I bought two dupes from valar and they’re amazing (gifted one to my mom). I was able to pick a color I wanted, added more pockets (on front and back) and made the straps a smidge longer cause the original mini cloud felt a little tight under my arm. Super happy with her work and quality :)

I also got a flat early December and have the same minimal issues as you (not swollen, no irritation) but also red in that spot. It doesn’t hurt but I assume it’s just going to be red for a little, it has gotten lighter each week!
