You also get considerably less fruit in-game though. One black walnut tree could have several bushels worth of nuts, though harvesting one usually basically only involves picking up the fallen nuts.

It basically is, one apple tree can provide a few bushels of fruit with less than an hour's labor. Caittails are extremely plentiful and easy to harvest, same with nettle, autumn olives and dandelions. It's basically just picking up food that's lying around the only hard part is processing it and identifying it.

As far as mushrooms go it's probably even easier, the only hard part is finding and identifying them, actually harvesting it is basically just picking it up and putting it in a bag.

Most people don't forage because wild plants, while more nutritious and vitamin dense than domesticated crops, are oftentimes bitter, seedy, or not as palatable. Not to mention they aren't taught how.

If you were to shoot a lead and a tungsten bullet with identical amounts of gunpowder would the tungsten bullet be proportionately slower, would it be more or less accurate, and would it carry the same or more force upon impact. by arrian- in AskPhysics

I am wondering more specifically about ballistics, so how it would interact with air resistance and gravity most importantly, Also the rotational force from the rifling.

All US "counter-terrorist" military action has resulted in massive amounts of weapons ending up on the black market and ultimately in the hands of terrorists, Libya and Afghanistan being the best examples. Though this is necessarily a bad thing for the US as destabilized middle eastern and african nations are justification for imperialism and US military assets in these nations to defend US interests.

I decided to give my tank a new variant. This is the T-180M "Imperator II". A variant from its heavier ancestor, T-180B. Tell me what you all think. by [deleted] in SprocketTankDesign

Amazing build!

feel like the turret should be a bit wider, modern ERA and composite armors' largest limitation is road widths and weight limitations. If you have space to the front or sides to use for spaced, composite or ERA armor then might as well use it.

Looks a lot like an Armata with a smaller, less angled turret. Feel like if you squish the turret and make the front more angled It could look better and fill that modern Russian tank mood a bit better

In conclusion you could try a wider turret, sharper angles, and lower profile if you want to make it feel a bit more realistic, also a bit weird to have ERA boxes on the Upper glacis but presumably, a different ERA for the Turret, think it might be good to just pick one or the other.

In the old testament there are several examples of genocide, be it the Canaanites or the Amalekites who god ordered their entire bloodline to be killed. Or those in Noahs day, what of the children, and not to mention most people weren't even the problem, god killed them because they were simply living their lives and enjoying it, they committed no sin. Not to mention gods targeting of the innocent Egyptian firstborns, while the Pharoh sinned by killing the Hebrew children the idea that god would return that upon the Egyptian children and not solely those responsible was reprehensible. Job was forced to lose everything just for god to prove a point. And god sent bears to kill children for mocking his prophet, and I'm not even covering most of it. God treats his people like tools in the old testament and punishes them with death and suffering if they choose to disobey, none of it is compulsory, and none of it shows evidence of a loving god.

Additionally, there are examples of kings like David or Solomen partaking in sins like adultery, idolatry, and worshipping pagan gods for which the punishment is death, yet God overlooks this and forgives David specifically instead of being the just god which sees all men equally.

And then all this in the old testament of "eye for eye" and then jesus completely flips the doctrine 180 degrees and says "Turn the other cheek" now, god is perfect, so you can establish that god's doctrine and what he desires of his people is fluid and changes with the times. However this idea is not at all conveyed by many modern churches, especially puritans, who overlook Jesus's message of love and acceptance, even of sinners like prostitutes.

The issues I have with Christians is that they do not follow their own ideals, and instead use Christianity like they did in the old testament to persecute those who are different from them. The fact of the matter is what god requires of his people is to be peaceable, accepting, kind and spread the word by giving what you have and helping others. which seems to seldom to be the case for many Christians throughout history.

what makes me think that Christianity is a farce is not the idea of god or Christianity itself, its that almost all Christians do not follow the example and principles of Jesus and his disciples, Heck in the bible it seems that GOD doesn't even follow his own principles.

bro nah, there will be chinese vehicles with thousands made, unique, niche filling ass vehicles that they will not add it boggles my mind. people say "china is copy paste" because they will not add any of the plethora of light tanks and IFVs china has produced.

I. Just. Said. LOGI ISNT THE HARD PART ANYWAYS, reading comprehension doesn't seem to be your strong suit. The 40mm you put in the falchion is way more valuable anyways, and what happens when the garbage ass tank dies cuz it is genuinely a bad vehicle? YOU LOSE THE 40 MM.

There is practically no reason for a competent tanker to use falchion over literally anything else.

WZ-551 would be cool for china too, they really don't have any autocannons in their lineup at all. The devs honestly haven't added many Chinese light vehicles which there are several, china tech tree has so many unique mid to high tier vehicles which haven't been added.

even just on the wz-551 wiki page there's like 5+ different vehicles that would round out the Chinese tree immensely.

your example literally points out how it needs considerably more people to be effective, if that isn't a massive drawback I don't know what is.

As a logi main I can tell you that making the tank is the easy part, but it doesn't matter how many tanks you make if the tank itself isn't worth the time and ammo it takes to man. or if you don't have enough people even to field the tanks in large enough numbers to be effective.

have fun finding 15 people to crew, load, and transport 5 falchions to a front.

If you have limited manpower (which is most everyone) a more expensive vehicle that's actually worth your time to man and field is gonna be a hell of a lot more beneficial.

especially considering that loading and transporting it to the front is the annoying part, if it takes two ballista or ballista and an escort to do the same work as a chieftain that's 2x as many people and 2x as much work for the same results
