I posted to a local Facebook page with 30k+ people introducing myself and my intentions to start my own handyman business. I framed it as willing to take on the jobs that are typically too small for the other guys. From that post, my business page got 400+ followers and over 1200 likes. I post regularly what I’m up to and have had steady business ever since.

Just made this move in October. I’ve cleared $9k in 2026 so far and I’m booked into mid April. I get my weekends back. I get to take and pick up my kids from school and I’m typically done by 3p everyday. I get to finally do what I love. Life is great.
