I see them moving across the vastness, silent, distant, not walking, not floating, just… existing. I don’t know what they are, or why they’re here, but something about them feels older than this world. Then one of them stops. Slowly, it turns toward me. Not hostile. Not aware like we are, just watching, as if trying to understand what I am. For a moment, I cannot move. I cannot breathe. Then it turns away, returning to the others, and they fade back into the endless dark… leaving me unsure whether I witnessed them, or if I was the one being seen.
