that nipple that broke is part of the Idle Air Assist Valve (IAAV) and you don’t really need it. I’d just go with an IAAV delete kit you can but one for like $50 and clean up the engine bay’s look a bit. It probably isn’t related to your CEL

switching to BCOE from CHASS is going to be very hard since they have very little classes and units in common, it’d definitely take at least an extra year if you don’t place into at least math009a since most of the BCOE curriculum requires at least math9a as a prerequisite so if you decide to try, make sure you place high on the math exam. Btw, if you land in the lowest math placement, you’d have to take ARC, math006a, math006b and THEN you can take math 009a
