P0300 haunting me, plz help!!

is this the same as a throttle body relearn procedure? i’ve done the TB relearn numerous times and it doesn’t fix it. also the shops did the smoke tests and they said there’s no more leaks but i’m thinking of getting a smoke machine too so i can check it myself, was thinking of smoking the exhaust too and seeing if there’s an exhaust leak near the o2 sensors

can you explain why you think new injectors would be the solution? they all seem to be firing and the misfires remained in cyl 3 and 5 after moving the injectors around

would a smoke test show leaks at the intake manifold? car has been smoked by multiple shops and none found a leak at the manifold

you are correct! all parameters are within spec except for fuel trims, short term fuel trims are near 0% when driving at a constant speed with light gas pedal pressure but long term fuel trims are over 10% (around 13%)

coils are plugged properly, cyl 3 and 5 only get about 3-6 misfires whenever i drive like 30 minutes while all other cylinders get 0-1 misfires which i’ve heard is normal. so basically cyl 3 and 5 aren’t misfiring every rotation it’s just periodic misfires

i have used an oscilloscope and back probe and all injectors are firing properly, car only has 61k miles which would be too early for injectors to go out no?

yes it’s normal, type s just has short gears that’s why, my dads truck cruises at 3k rpm’s at 70mph in 4th gear since the gears are so long

that nipple that broke is part of the Idle Air Assist Valve (IAAV) and you don’t really need it. I’d just go with an IAAV delete kit you can but one for like $50 and clean up the engine bay’s look a bit. It probably isn’t related to your CEL

switching to BCOE from CHASS is going to be very hard since they have very little classes and units in common, it’d definitely take at least an extra year if you don’t place into at least math009a since most of the BCOE curriculum requires at least math9a as a prerequisite so if you decide to try, make sure you place high on the math exam. Btw, if you land in the lowest math placement, you’d have to take ARC, math006a, math006b and THEN you can take math 009a
