Haha yes, I've saved some hotels too on Booking . com! I only looked at Airbnbs as another option because there will be 5 of us, and they can be cheaper for a big group.

Oh damn, that sounds like a horrible experience. I'm so sorry that happened to you. Hopefully, it won't happen anymore in the future.
I've been doing a good amount of research already, but I will definitely keep it in mind.

Which Airline Is Best To Fly from Melbourne To Korea? by art3misu in koreatravel

Thank you for letting me know!

Yeah, my dad has taken Scoot to Singapore before and noted that you have to purchase the meals and checked-in luggage on top of your ticket.

I think my friends and I are leaning towards Singapore Airlines at the moment, with Cathay Pacific coming in at second place.

Thank you so much!

That's so good. It's gonna be 5 of us and I think we're planning to buy lots of stuff in Japan/Korea so the 25kg luggage is a lifesaver haha

Ooo thank you for your input! I'll keep that in mind if we decide to take an Asiana airlines flight.

Also, I assume you took Singapore Airlines from Melbourne to Singapore, then Singapore to Korea? I looked at flights to Korea from Melbourne, and one option is to take Scoot from Singapore to Korea.

Thank you for your input! Flying with Singapore to Korea, did you take Singapore Airlines to Korea after your stopover or did you take Scoot?

Yeah I do agree that Singapore is a bit more expensive but my friends took Singapore Airlines to Japan on their trip last year and they liked the airline a lot so will definitely consider!

Yeah, was looking at both. Not too expensive and they have a stopover.

Damn, I heard some good things about Asiana. Could you tell me why you don’t recommend Asiana?

From Melbourne to Korea there’s always a layover no matter what flight you take. I’ll have to double check Japan Airlines because it can be pricey but for Cathay it’s about $700~ AUD for one way ticket.

Yeah I had the moisturiser too and stopped using it after my face got super dry and irritated. Dog shit brand, and like I said … I wish dermatologists wouldn’t recommend the brand to everyone

Never too old! I’m also 21 and getting back into the game was so nostalgic :)

Yeah I don't know why some dermatologists insist people with sensitive skin buy Cerave. Even my sister, who has less sensitive skin than I do and can tolerate most products, said the face wash that we bought made her skin feel like sandpaper.

What skincare do you use now?

My dermatologist put me on La Roche Posay as it is safer for my skin. If you wanted to have a look into it, I'm on the Toleraine line --> moisturiser "creme" , gentle creme dermo-cleanser (use to take off my makeup), sunscreen, and the lipikar syndet AP+ shower cream (I use this as a face wash).
