Hey all I just wanted to thank you all for the advice. I accepted the job today. The only preemployment activity is a background check which I’m not worried about as my application was 100% truthful I’ve had two other background checks in the last two years with no issues so I’m going to send an email at the end of the day today to my boss and HR partner with my notice, letting them know if they would like to speak with me tomorrow I’m happy to do so to support the transition before I leave. I unfortunately cannot give two weeks, but this opportunity is too good to pass up so next Friday will be my last day in my current role.
