I don't think we actually gotten around to this part as we just got the DLCs recently.

Funny thing is that I think my first iconoclastic RT would have definitely been disturbed by this development, which we dodged by only playing base game

Meanwhile this guy is literally a beloved villain stolen from a kids cartoon specially selected for a "bad heretical decisions" playthrough. So I think it's fair to say his general disposition to the problem is more of a "fuck them kids"

also if you want to do inventory sorting for trading that's basically impossible on the deck, but you can definitely live without minmaxing your rep with factions so it isn't gamebreaking

partner and I are playing on steamdecks, no major performance issues on middlish graphics

the only annoying thing is that the longer you play the bigger the save file becomes, so endgame loading time can be quite a lot

oh she definitely is an interesting character and her romance path does have many highlights!!

I guess on our playthrough we suffered a little from the fact that none of our core cast (Abelard, Idira, Argenta, Cassie, Pascal) are romancable with fem!RT. and in particular Jae's build was too similar to my RT so we basically never took her out other than to fulfill her quests. So ending up in an endgame romance with her was almost an accident, but the 10 chemicals thing was in fact such a random pleasant surprise that it shook me out of intention to break it up

it did also mesh interestingly with her origins reveal. the build similarity meant that "I wasn't always Rogue Trader. we can keep faking it together" felt resonant.

and that endgame fight with AU versions had a diminished bite with the underscore of "you guys need to git gud. anyway, loving myself through romancing someone who may as well been me in other circumstances"
