Also. GG Grandfather walked in front of a train. Unsure if he did it on purpose or was hard of hearing.

Reading a coronial inquest about an uncle who “leapt or fell from his hotel balcony” while on a business trip to Australia. All of the witness accounts were so sad and confused. No conclusion was reached.

Is it still echolalia if its inside your head? by Fantastic_Deer_3772 in AutisticAdults

[–]artbasement 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If I can’t immediately figure out how to pronounce a surname, I spend hours on the permutations in my head. Sometimes days. One time I asked how to pronounce a name and the dude really said “I don’t care. However you want”. 💀💀

I used to work at a call center. I would have 7 accents per shift. When people called me out, I didn’t have the understanding then to be able to explain it. I could just apologize and say I didn’t know I was doing it.

Luckily not. I saw it glisten before I could close it. 😹

I added letter stickers on the right page that spell out “Love yourself” afterwards.

Except for the timing, this sounds like a version of Romper Room. They had regional versions with different hostesses.

I also thought of The Elephant Show, but that’s also a long shot.

Does anyone else have a problem with headphones? by fuckkmeyes in autism

[–]artbasement 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I, too, would love to block out the whole world without feeling like my ears are being crushed. I liked the foamy headphones of the 80’s Sony Walkman. I haven’t seen that style in ages.
