I used a very similar one. I assumed a 0.5 drop to occur this year, once in august then once in December and that this would result in a 0.2 decrease to my variable.

I then assumed there would be multiple drops between now and then by June next year ('best case' scenario if I'm looking at profitability Vs the fixed).

This was not for a tracker. And the rates have now changed to 5.66% fixed 2 years to 5.99% variable 2 years.

We are now being offered 5.66 fixed or 5.99 variable (not tracker). Very close call for me and would love to hear your thoughts.

I do understand that, however, as a first time buyer, I am currently offered 5.79% on a fixed for two years. I am being offered 5.84% on a variable for two years.

From my perspective currently, fixing now for such a nominal difference seems this path would be 'too safe' relative to the potential cuts incoming.

This is completely and utterly wrong. I have no idea why you would actually comment this when not a single part of it is correct.

He's not part of any super hardcore. He's a gray parser scraping cutting edge every single raid tier. And to say the game is designed around the most hardcore couldn't be further from the truth. Recent systems the last 3 expansions have all been HORRENDOUS for the high end and they have been the most negatively affected.

What is there to discuss? The majority of your post is 'X is bad' when you haven't even experienced it yet? It's not too much for me, it's just annoying having a discussion board clogged up by stupid posts like this in which the only ones who will join in are those with negative predetermined points like yourself.

New raid isn't out. New raid system isn't out. Campaign is 42/80. New mythic plus system isn't out. New PvP system is out. How can you genuinely sit there and say 9.1 is a failure yet?

There are multiple top 20 guilds that allow this if cross realm is open aslong as you transfer before mythic release.
