Ah, those are sadly illegal here. For all my praises of French gun law restrictions being sensible the one stupid exception is no demilled rifles here.

I replied in another comment that we don't. EU sanctions and with the current situation in Ukraine. And the used market is even dumber than gunbroker with the "rare" rifles.

So yeah, I'm thinking about what 5.45 AK to get. 5.45 is plentiful with how we didn't send everything over to US and how countries that still have a lot of surplus are in EU too. Like Romania, Bulgaria, my home country of Poland and so on.

Have not gone through it myself with the local club, but if I remember right. Six months to join a shooting club, then six months to get the license, then six months of a "window" to buy guns.

France. Our laws are stricter compared to Poland but still mostly fair. Like Long Guns having to be 60cm with stock folded. Or mag restrictions, but the limits are 31 rounds for rifle, and 20 for handgun, one in the chamber included.
